Number 4 of species of Indonesia Adenium is Somalense.
Somalense usually grow in a single-trunk or growing like a tree. Somalense also called as pachycaul form because of the shape is unlike common adenium caudiciform. The trunk form, foliage, and flowers are in vary. Each desert rose creates its own sculptural design. It has shiny long green leaves and attractive. Leaves normally fall in Winter.
Adenium Somalense of Indonesia has flowers in vary. White, pink, red, both of single and rosy petal. With five lines stripped down right in the middle of each petal. Known to be a prolific bloomer. The flowers are 5-7 cm large. This species produce a massive caudex when growing older, but will start blooming when quite young, at only 6 inches tall. Do pruning after the plant's rest period. Heavy pruning should be kept to a minimum. New shoots can be pruned regularly.
